Who We Are

Enhancing young people’s ability to engage in positive behaviors that promote their well-being, achieve personal goals, and thrive as self-sufficient adults.

OUR PURPOSE

The purpose of the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Merrimack Valley is to promote academic success, good citizenship, and healthy life styles.

Our Mission

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

Our Goal

To provide a world-class Club experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors, that all members are on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, while demonstrating good character, citizenship and living a healthy lifestyle.

OUR HISTORY

As the 1990s drew to a close a group of proactive citizens who recognized the needs of many of the area’s families with young children began the work of establishing a regional center where school-age children could have fun and learn in a safe and structured environment. The result of their efforts is The Boys and Girls Club of the Lower Merrimack Valley, Located in the former Salisbury Memorial School, the club has been a second home to more than two thousand members and is today an essential part of the lives of hundreds of young families.

Happy Families

“A great place for local kids to socialize and have fun!” – RC

I love the summer program they run and all the different things for them to do. Such as baking, music, lego club, computers, arts, sports, and photography just to name a few. My son has been going here for about 4 years or so now. It is also fantastic for after school as I am a single mom. They for sure keep the kids busy.
– ED

“Fantastic organization that makes life richer for families of every economic level, and makes life possible for hundreds of working parents.” – BP
