Transportation Policies

2024-2025

Our Transportation Policies are outlined below:
Please Read Carefully!!

Enrollment is limited and registrations will be taken on a FIRST COME/FIRST SERVED basis.

All enrollees must be a current member of the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Merrimack Valley.

Membership is $50 per year and is non-refundable.

Transportation is provided from Newburyport & Amesbury Public Schools for half days. An additional fee of $10 is required for half day programs at the club.

The transportation fee is $1,250 for the school year. Payment may be made as follows:

  1. One Payment of $1,250 due by September 5, 2024 or upon enrollment, or
  2. Three Payments of $415. The first is due September 5th or upon enrollment, the second payment is due January 2nd and the final payment is due April 3rd, or
  3. Monthly payments of $125 each due by the 20th day of the PRIOR month. Transportation must be prepaid.

Each payment must be paid in full and in advance of transportation being provided.

Failure to provide your payment by the due date will result in your child being removed from the active transportation list. You will be notified the week prior to transportation ending so that you can make other arrangements. His/Her seat on the bus may be given to someone on the waiting list.

All deposits/fees are non-refundable.

Checks returned by the bank will incur a $35 charge.

To register for transportation, all overdue accounts must be paid in full. If you need to check an account balance, please call Lindsay. A payment plan can be worked out if you have an overdue account.

Inappropriate behavior while waiting for, riding on or departing a Boys & Girls Club vehicle may result in suspension or termination of transportation.

One registration form per child is required.

We are no longer accepting kindergarten students.

SCHEDULED FIELD TRIPS & FEE

(fee is due week of field trip and must be prepaid to go on field trip)

Week 2: Canobie Lake - $60

Week 4: Water Country - $60

Week 6: Aquaboggan - $60

Week 8: Funtown - $60

ALL CAMPERS MUST HAVE A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD ON FILE TO ATTEND THE SUMMER PROGRAM.

Payments will be processed each Thursday for the upcoming week.

DEPOSIT & REFUND POLICY

  • ALL REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE/ NON TRANSFERABLE
  • IF A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD IS DECLINED, YOUR CHILD MAY NOT ATTEND THE SUMMER PROGRAM.
  • BY REGISTERING MY CHILD I GIVE PERMISSION FOR MY CHILD TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL ACTIVITIES AT THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF LOWER MERRIMACK VALLEY.
  • I ALSO GRANT PERMISSION FOR PHOTOS OF MY CHILD TO BE USED FOR MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS PURPOSES.
